Worth Your Time & Thought ... seriously

I found this at Lunar Musings ... it touches my heart & conscience and wanted to share ... just because. I hope you'll take time to watch & listen ... and perhaps even share on your blog too.
Hugs and blessings,

Thoughts for Today
"You are a human being. You have rights inherent in that reality. You have dignity and worth that exists prior to law." Lyn Beth Neylon

"The Framers of the Bill of Rights did not purport to "create" rights. Rather, they designed the Bill of Rights to prohibit our Government from infringing rights and liberties presumed to be preexisting."
Justice William J. Brennan, 1982

"Give to every human being every right that you claim for yourself." Robert Ingersoll

He says everything that's in my heart--only much more eloquently. My happiness last Wednesday was very much tempered by the results of Prop 8 and the other anti-gay stuff that passed, as well.

Update--I felt so strongly about this, that I actually figured out how to embed a YouTube video into my own blog!

Karen – As I wrote in comments on your blog last night, I’m grateful to know that this video spoke to you in much the same way it spoke to me. I wish I could be so eloquent and clear in sharing my own beliefs. I’m delighted that you’ve decided to share it on your blog too and am proud of you for figuring out how to ‘embed’ YouTube videos like this. Methinks it’s important to encourage folks to think about this issue and all its implications calmly and rationally … from a loving place … without fear. Thanks …
Hugs and blessings,

Thanks so much for coming to visit and so glad I came over. First I completely agree and am sharing it on my blog as well. Second, when I posted my "for sure" post I hadn't thought of doing it on a regular basis. Great idea and one I think I'll follow up on also. We definitely have to 'chat' more.

Jeanne – You’re quite welcome. I enjoy your blog and have added it to my ‘reader’ so I’ll visit as time permits. Thank you for taking time to watch this video and deciding to post it as well. Methinks it’s a topic in need of thought and conversation. I plan to share it on my other blogs as well to keep the discussion alive indefinitely.
Hugs and blessings,
